Discover the Citadelle
Upon your arrival in Calvi, your gaze will be amazed by the Citadel, symbol of the wealth of the past under Genoese domination of the city.
To reach this historic site, you will have to take paved streets through the famous Saint Jean-Baptiste Cathedral.

Take a tour of the port of Calvi
It is at the foot of this imposing Genoese building that the boats of fishermen and boater’s moor. This is the starting point for many sea walks along the Mediterranean, an activity not to be missed under any circumstances during your getaway.
The port is bordered by numerous bars and restaurants, just above the hyper-center between Clemenceau Street and Wilson Boulevard, with its various shops where you will find local designers and artisans.

Jewels of cultural heritage, we can see on the hill a chapel and a sculpture anchored on the rock.
Built in the 15th century (1479) it is listed as a Calvais religious heritage.
the sculpture depicts the Virgin Mary, the Calvais have entrusted her with the protection of the city and have dedicated a pilgrimage to her for 500 years.
From there, you can enjoy an exceptional view of the bay of Calvi up to Cap Corse.
It is at the gates of the city of Calvi, where you can admire the peninsula of Revelatta, rocky promontory lined with beaches and intimate coves and wild.

The Scandola Nature Reserve is a marine and land-based reserve whose access is strictly regulated.
It is part of the regional natural park of Corsica.
Of volcanic origin, the red rocks of the ancient caldera plunge into the sea and contrast with the intense blue of the water.
It is one of the most beautiful natural sites in Corsica.
Offering spectacular landscapes, the boat trip in the reserve is considered one of the must-see of a trip in Corsica.
It is located about twenty kilometres’ from Calvi.
It covers 3000 ha, of which 210 ha are Laricio pine, 300 ha are Holm oak and 750 ha are Maritime pine.
The Bonifato massif is crossed by the GR20 and the Tra e Mare e Monti, the most famous trails of the Corsican Regional Natural Park.
Along the forest path, meanders a small river composed of natural swimming pools.
It’s a nice place to have a picnic.
